::Protected from the perplexingness of the perplexing odor by your makeshift SCUBA gear, you walk through to the center of the cloud of odor and find a switch in the floor.

::Since switches are made to be pulled, you pull the switch, and hear some clanking noises coming from the central corridor.
*After walking to the center of the cloud:
:You've done everything there is to do with the perplexing odor. Move along, nothing more to see.
