You discover a stone altar, elaborately carved with a depiction of what appears to be some kind of ancient god.
The top of the altar features a bowl-like depression -- it looks as though you're meant to put something into it. Probably something round.

Eventually, you come to. It feels like you've got the worst hangover ever, and you didn't even get to have any fun earning it.

Eventually, it disappears into the altar, and you feel a minor surge of power throughout your body.
