==Description==

Visit [[The Gourd Tower]] at the [[right side of the tracks]], and the Captain of the Gourd will ask you for some items to help to defend the gourd.

==Tasks==
*The Captain of the Gourd wants some items which depend on your class:
:*[[Seal Clubber]]s and [[Turtle Tamer]]s must collect [[Knob Goblin firecracker]]s from the [[Outskirts of Cobb's Knob]].
:*[[Pastamancer]]s and [[Sauceror]]s must collect [[razor-sharp can lid]]s from [[The Haunted Pantry]].
:*[[Disco Bandit]]s and [[Accordion Thief|Accordion Thieves]] must collect [[spider web]]s from [[The Sleazy Back Alley]].
*Initially, the Captain wants just 5 items.
:*Adventure for the items and bring them to the Captain for your [[gourd potion]] reward.
*Unlike other quests, the Defend the Gourd Quest can be repeated.
:*However, the number of items that the Captain wants increases by 1 each time.  So, the second time you do the quest, the Captain wants 6 items, the third time the Captain wants 7 items, and so on. (see table below)
:*Each time you accumulate the required number of items and bring them to the Captain, you will receive the [[gourd potion]] reward.
*The quest can be done a total of 21 times (for a grand total of 315 items).
:*When you bring the Captain the 21st batch of items (25 items), you will receive your final [[gourd potion]].
::*If you are in hardcore while doing so, you also qualify for the [[Gourdcore]] trophy.
