Hey, slow down there, "Mer-kin Scholar." I'll have you know that the belt is supposed to be made out of naturally dried kelp woven into ''four'' ceremonial strands and braided according to the Fibonacci sequence. Not only that, but the hood is always worn slightly ''above'' the eyebrow line--and yes, I know Mer-kin don't have eyebrows, but you're totally missing the point.

Why don't you up your accuracy a little, okay? What's the fun of dressing up in a costume if you're not even going to do it right?

As the Mer-kin Gladiators were named by stringing together names of [[Wikipedia:The Beatles|The Beatles]] in a similar way, and the Monkees were a Beatles parody band, this is appropriate.
