*A Pet Rock does nothing at all, similar to a real pet rock, but it can at the very least contribute to a few [[trophy|trophies]] that require [[Black Hole Terrarium|familiar weight]].
*Before May 1, 2012, the Pet Rock was sometimes a familiar of choice for [[PvP|PvPers]] as its +11 equipment was advantageous in the "Familiar Kills" minigame.
*While it doesn't say anything special for the [[wax lips]], [[miniature gravy-covered maypole]], or [[lucky Tam O'Shanter]] it still gives the effects of each item; for instance, a pet rock with wax lips works like a 10 lb. volleyball.
*Unlike most familiars, the Pet Rock has two pieces of familiar-specific equipment.
