I think the old quest material should be moved to its own page, probably [[A Quest, LOL]].  To preserve page history, we can revert all the changes from the revamp, move it, and rebuild the page for the revamped quest. Sounds good, I have just started the lvl 9 quest & can help get new content information. However, I am in zombie slayer & I'm not sure just what all divergencies there may be. Number of items needed, etc. should be the same though.

The Council has gotten word that there's something bothering Black Angus, the Highland Lord.

You should seek him out, in the Highlands beyond the Orc Chasm, in the Big Mountains.


Also I have " A Quest LOL " listed in my log under "miscellaneous quests". (I had started the baron quest a few days ago before the revamp) Is it being left in the game as an optional quest?

[A]fter about 30 adventures with no progress I got the option to blow the hotel up. I picked it the beacon lighted. To finish the quest you must now:
1: Collect the scrolls as before
2: wait for a special combat adventure(an adding machine)
3: feed your scrolls as combat items to the adding machine. It will spit back out the appropriate item.(create the same scrolls as before) Funksling speeds this up.
4: use your 64735 scroll, and recieve your items as normal!!!

So, what, you need to Filch the Underwearrr before you can get the dictionary? That sounds somewhat improbable to me, but I just went some 30+ adventures in disguise with no dictionary, popped out of disguise for long enough to make sure I'd gotten that adventure, disguised myself, and got the dictionary in two turns. Id, I had the same experience. 40 turns without the dictionary, then stole the undies, got the dictionary on the very first turn. It does seem the undies are a trigger now.--[[User:Badverb|Badverb]] 14:03, 30 June 2007 (CDT)

Most runs I just pull the Swashbuckling Getup, so I never get the Filching the Underrrwear adventure.  It takes me about 20 turns to get the pirate drunkenness, then a couple more to get the bridge.  This run I farmed for the getup until I got Filching, then pulled one more item.  Instead of 20 turns to get drunkenness it took... 23.  Plus one more to get the bridge. I just did it then, pulled the entire outfit from Hagnk's, got the dictionary adventure about 20 adventures later, no Underwear adventure. However, it is worth finding out whether the secret society adventure actually hastens the coming of the dictionary. It should be mentioned somewhere on this page that you need to have first unlocked the Mysterious Island of Mystery before you can start on this quest.  To unlock the Mysterious Island, you must complete the Bitchin' Meatcar guild quest to unlock the beach; then take five trips at The Shore to get your Dinghy Plans; and finally, trade a worthless trinket to the Mountains Hermit to get Dinghy Planks.  Using the plans with planks in inventory unlocks the Mysterious Island, and then you can proceed to complete the remainder of this quest. - AvangionQ / September 4th, 2010.
