I remember reading these things starting ripping in february '05.  I've never ripped mine, but do they still rip now?

Beanbag chairs start ripping.

It seems you can install this ''in'' your dwelling now, and you can have either a beanbag chair OR a [[gauze hammock]]; this causes resting to restore more MP, the hammock makes it restore more HP. If you install one, it destroys the other. --[[User:Emtu|Emtu]] 12:48, 8 February 2008 (CST)

Muscle stat day, so double hp while resting.  Base is 40 from frobozz house, doubled because of pagoda to 80.  Beanbag chair only gave 30 more mp?

*In addition, the new magnifying glass from today's Trivial Update confirms that the beanbag chair gives 30 additional MP.  I fixed the Notes entry that said 50; it also says the beanbag's gain is doubled on a Myst day - I left that for now, until I can confirm it. --[[User:Terion|Terion]] 21:04, 25 March 2008 (CDT)

**OK, today's a myst day (Jarlsuary 5). Rested in a [[House]] furnished with a [[beanbag chair]] as well as the three "tasteful" furnishings. Received: "The bright face of Ronald smiles upon you. / You gain 40 hit points. / You gain 110 Mojo Points. / You dream that you're standing in front of the Council of Loathing dressed only in your underwear."  So, base 40 MP for resting in a [[House]], doubled to 80 for the myst day, +30 for the beanbag chair -- no doubling of the beanbag chair's +30 bonus.--[[User:Terion|Terion]] 09:26, 9 May 2008 (CDT)
