You return to the sietch, and show your drum machine to Gnasir. He nods approvingly. "Well chosen. This thumper will serve you well. However, summoning the worm is only the first step -- if you cannot control it, you will ride nowhere but to the grave." He hands you an old leather-bound book. "This tome contains the collected wisdom of all the worm-riders of our tribe."

You start to flip through the book, but discover a problem. "Um... there are some pages missing."

Gnasir nods grimly. "Yes, fifteen pages have been lost to the desert winds. You will need to recover them before you can complete your training."

"You have got to be kidding me."

"Nope."

Cursing under your breath, you hand the book back to him and head back to the oasis.
