As you wander through the bugbear pen, you see a group of bugbears feasting on some kind of meal. One of them looks up and spots you, blood dripping from its teeth, a scrap of bugbear fur in its mouth. Fortunately for you, it doesn't seem to be hungry any more. But have bugbears developed a taste for cannibalism? Is soylent green going to replace bugbear chow?
You wait until the bugbears finish feeding and move off, then inspect the remains. Ah, it looks like they weren't eating another bugbear after all -- it was just a fellow adventurer in a bugbear costume. What a relief!
The costume seems to be in decent shape, too, once you clean the drool off of it. What a lucky find!
You suddenly feel less lucky.
