Level

Your level is an indication of how far you've progressed in the game. Your level is dependent on your main stat. As you reach higher levels, more areas become available to you. A new skill becomes available to purchase from your guild with every level through 15.

Level may also be used to refer to Monster Level, a rating of a Monster's power.

• Level 1 - main stat: 3
  • The Council of Loathing advise you to visit the Toot Oriole on Mt. Noob.
  • The Sewer opens.
  • The Sleazy Back Alley opens.
  • The Haunted Pantry opens.
  • The Outskirts of Cobb's Knob open.
• Level 2 - main stat: 5
  • The Spooky Forest Quest becomes available, opening The Spooky Forest.
  • The Haiku Dungeon opens at 5 main stat.
• Level 3 - main stat: 8
  • You are able to shop in The Flea Market
  • You are able to join a clan. (level req waived for ascenders)
  • The Typical Tavern Quest becomes available, opening The Typical Tavern.
  • The first part of The Wizard of Ego guild quest becomes available at 11 main stat, opening The Misspelled Cemetary.
  • The Legendary Epic Weapon Quest becomes available at 12 main stat.
  • The "Fun" House opens after smithing your Epic Weapon and completing the first stage of the Legendary Epic Weapon Quest.
• Level 4 - main stat: 13
  • The Boss Bat Quest becomes available, opening The Bat Hole.
  • The Slay Your Nemesis Quest became available (now retired).
  • A Temporal Rift opens in the nearby plains letting you access The Nearby Plains in the Distant Past, if you have already ascended at least once and completed the first stage of The Wizard of Ego quest.
  • The Daily Dungeon opens at 15 main stat.
  • The second part of The Wizard of Ego guild quest becomes available at main stat 18, opening The Ruins of Fernswarthy's Tower.
• Level 5 - main stat: 20
  • You are able to shop at The Mall of Loathing.
  • The King of Cobb's Knob Quest becomes available, allowing you to go inside Cobb's Knob.
  • You can adventure behind The Inexplicable Door if you have a Continuum transfunctioner equipped.
  • The Limerick Dungeon opens at 21 main stat.
  • A Dark and Dank and Sinister Quest becomes available at 25 main stat if you have completed the Legendary Epic Weapon Quest.
• Level 6 - main stat: 29
  • The Nearby Plains in the Distant Past becomes unavailable.
  • The Deep Fat Friars' Gate Quest quest becomes available (provided the Spooky Forest Quest and Typical Tavern Quest are completed), opening The Deep Fat Friars' Gate.
  • The White Citadel Quest can open at 34 main stat, provided you completed the Bitchin' Meatcar Quest.
  • Fernswarthy's Basement opens at 35 main stat
• Level 7 - main stat: 40
  • You can form your own clan. (level req waived for ascenders)
  • The Undefile the Cyrpt Quest becomes available.
  • The Enormous Greater-Than Sign opens at 45 main stat.
• Level 8 - main stat: 53
  • The Mt. McLargeHuge Quest becomes available, opening Mt. McLargeHuge.
• Level 9 - main stat: 68
  • You can purchase a store in the Mall of Loathing.
  • The Orc Chasm Quest becomes available.
  • The Strange Leaflet Quest becomes available.
• Level 10 - main stat: 85
  • The Giant Trash Quest becomes available.
  • The Secret Tropical Island Volcano Lair can be available at 90 main stat, see details at Me and My Nemesis#Tasks.
  • The Dwarven Factory Quest can open at 100 main stat, provided you completed the White Citadel Quest.
• Level 11 - main stat: 104
  • The Quest for the Holy MacGuffin becomes available.
• Level 12 - main stat: 125
  • The Mysterious Island Quest becomes available.
• Level 13 - main stat: 148
  • The Naughty Sorceress Quest becomes available, opening the Lair of The Naughty Sorceress.
• Level 14 - main stat: 173
• Level 15 - main stat: 200
• Level 30 - main stat: 845
  • A trophy becomes available for reaching this level, with a different trophy for each class.
• Level X - main stat: X² - 2X + 5 or (X - 1)² + 4 (both formulas are equivalent, neither works for level 1)
