In PvP, you can lose items, your dignity, and your temper. You get to make 10 attacks per day (more if you consume the right things or wear the right kind of gear), but you can be attacked many many more times than that. When "Used" (prior to the PvP update on April 30, 2012)

• If Unshattered:

Your campsite contains a Magical Mystical Hippy Stone. The groovy good feelings which emanate from this magical rock put you in such a good mood that you wouldn't even consider attacking another player, and has a similar effect on anybody who might try to attack you.

If you shatter the stone, and thereby elect to participate in Player vs. Player combat, you will not be able to reconstruct the stone until you have gone two weeks without attacking another player.

Your Magical Mystical Hippy Stone has been smashed, and you may attack players camped near you. If you go two weeks without initiating an attack, you'll be able to reconstruct the stone.

• If shattered, after two weeks

Your Magical Mystical Hippy Stone has been smashed, and you may attack players camped near you. If you go two weeks without initiating an attack, you'll be able to reconstruct the stone.

Since the fragments of your Magical Mystical Hippy Stone have laid undisturbed for two weeks (which is to say that you haven't attacked anyone in that period,) you now have the option to glue the pieces back together and opt out of PvP combat. Doing this will reset your PvP win/loss record and your PvP Ranking.

Notes

• An unshattered Magical Mystical Hippy Stone inhibits all PvP activity. You may not attack other players and other players may not attack you.
• If you choose to shatter your Hippy Stone, this restriction is removed and you may attack other players and other players may attack you.
• Before the April 30, 2012 PvP update, if you had shattered your Hippy Stone, you would be able to restore it to its magical mystical unshattered state if you went two weeks without attacking another player. Lamentably, during those two weeks, other players could continue to attack you.
• A Shattered Hippy Stone is automatically restored to its magical mystical unshattered state upon Ascension, or at the end of the current PvP season.
• If your stone is unshattered and you try to "attack" players by using a script, the following message is displayed: "Your campsite contains a Magical Mystical Hippy Stone."
• You can only smash your stone once a day.
• When in an Actually Ed the Undying run, A Stone Shrine is available instead.

• The limit of 1/smash a day was secretly added on February 18, 2014, after complaints of casual chaining being used for things like diet and fame taken minis. The asterisk and the corresponding note was not present at the confirmation checkbox.
