*This familiar is a reference to the 2000 movie, [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cast_Away Cast Away], in which [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Hanks Tom Hanks's] character is stranded on an island and obtains a volleyball from one the packages he was delivering.  He painted a face on the volleyball and named it Wilson.  He even spoke to it. To encourage creativity amongst its players, [[Kingdom of Loathing|KoL]] will not let you name your volleyball Wilson. Attempts to give the name Wilson to your volleyball will cause it to be automatically renamed to one of the following: Spalding, Molten, Baden, Mikasa, Brine, Tachikara. Trying to replace the L with a second I (i.e.- Wiison) will have the same effect. However you are allowed to name it Willson, with two L's.
