:That sounds like a job for :Template:Item. If we add a "candy" parameter we can auto-cat them. —Yendor (talk) 05:02, 20 October 2017 (UTC) |

HC Permable?
I believe this is already marked as HC permable, but I am unsure. Change the actual description accordingly. --GinoXYZ (talk) 09:38, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
Can confirm marked HP automatically. --OldJanitor (talk) 10:40, 21 December 2016 (UTC)
Combinations
- Bittersweet Tarts + Black Candy Heart = 30 turns of Synthesis: Strong (Muscle +300%)
- Piddles + PlexiPips = 30 turns of Synthesis: Energy (Maximum MP +300%)
- Angry Farmer Candy + pickle-flavored chewing gum = Synthesis: Cold (Sublime Cold Resistance (+9))
--OldJanitor (talk) 10:40, 21 December 2016 (UTC)
- Bittersweet Tarts + Black Candy Heart = 30 turns of Synthesis: Strong (Muscle +300%) (same result as day one)
- Black Candy Heart + Bittersweet Tarts = 30 turns of Synthesis: Strong (Muscle +300%) (reverse order, same result)
- banana supersucker + Cold Hots candy = 30 turns of Synthesis: Energy (Maximum MP +300%)

KingBobson's post is worth looking at for figuring out what combination turns into what effect. --Fig bucket (talk) 13:35, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
- It looks like the generic Halloween candies (Box of Dweebs, Bag of W&Ws, etc.) are complex, but costume-specific ones and generics from before the Halloween revamp are simple. I checked a few (Cold Hots, Steal This Candy, Daffy Taffy, Mr Mediocrebar, candied kobold), but obviously not all of them. --Will408914 (talk) 05:35, 28 December 2016 (UTC)
Casting Cost
Casting this costs 1 Spleen (had three left, so only confirmed for the first three casts), assuming the candy is used, but forgot to check, silly me --OldJanitor (talk) 10:44, 21 December 2016 (UTC)
- I assume by that that the skill itself does not give you a consumable item for the buff, but instead gives you the buff directly? Jimfromtx (talk) 09:14, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, it does. Cast, crafting screen, effect. --OldJanitor (talk) 10:55, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
Is This Useful
I just looked at my ascension logs and I can't seem to find places where I picked up candy. I think the only one I got through adventuring normally was a single marzipan skull. I suppose it would be reasonable to intentionally farm candy (since spleen-turn gen is going out of standard), but afaict it requires going out of one's way. Will this actually see relevance? --Thoth19 (talk) 20:34, 30 December 2016 (UTC) Thoth19
- It will definitely see relevance on runs that are lucky enough to Trick or Treat!--GinoXYZ (talk) 06:51, 2 January 2017 (UTC)
Candy Complexity
We should just add a category to each of these candies. Along with Category:Candy they should also have something like Category:Simple Candy or Category:Complex Candy. Listing each individual candy is necessary if we just link them to a page with a "Automatic" list.--Icon315♕ (☎|♤) 01:27, 20 October 2017 (UTC)
