The following would be a much more effective spading procedure: Go to the cemetary, or any other zone with all-spooky monsters. Use spices for 28+ rounds; run some +ML to keep them alive that long if necessary. You'll get 28+ rounds of data for every turn, letting you easily spade the formulas for each moon setting while still having lots of turns to do other things every day. --Flargen 01:34, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

Tam O'Shanter: <familiar name> emits a muffled howl from beneath the Tam O'Shanter. Maypole: <familiar name> makes it about 5% of the way around the maypole before you get bored and stop watching. I've been doing some script-empowered spading of these little fellows. Chart is up on my user page -- I'll keep adding to it as I go; so far there are some values of moonlight I've not been able to check. Perhaps this will allow someone to derive a formula of some kind -- at least a ballpark.
