- Before walking to the center of the cloud:
- Improperly attired:
- You enter the strange cloud. Its odor is... perplexing. You're so perplexed that you're unable to get through the cloud.
- With stench resistance:
- Though you're protected from stench, this odor is too perplexing to really be called a stench. It's so perplexing that you're too perplexed to continue.
- Properly attired:
- Protected from the perplexingness of the perplexing odor by your makeshift SCUBA gear, you walk through to the center of the cloud of odor and find a switch in the floor.
- Since switches are made to be pulled, you pull the switch, and hear some clanking noises coming from the central corridor.
- After walking to the center of the cloud:
- You've done everything there is to do with the perplexing odor. Move along, nothing more to see.
