costume sword
This is an extremely shiny, extremely flimsy sword, obviously manufactured more for looks than for combat effectiveness. It's a lot like those toy swords you got when you were a kid, where you were all "Ooh, cool, a sword," and then the first time you hit something with it, you were all "Ooh, cool, broken pieces of a crappy sword."
