Crimbuccaneer scrimshander You're fighting a Crimbuccaneer scrimshander

A lot of people don't know the word scrimshander, so they'll refer to pirates with this job as "scrimshaw guy" or "scrimsmith" or "weird Tony."

Hit Message(s):

He grabs a whalebone and looks at it, sizing up whether it's a good scrimshaw candidate. He decides it isn't, but that it's a great candidate for hitting you in the <skull>. Ouch! Ugh! Eek! Ooh! Ow!

He carves a rune on your forehead with a tiny knife. The rune probably translates to "OUCH." Ouch! Ow! Oof! Ooh! Ouch!

He pelts you with a bunch of sharp little bits of whalebone left over from his carvings. Oof! Eek! Ow! Ooh! Ow!

Critical Hit Message:

He carves a rune on your forehead with a tiny knife. The rune probably translates to "OUCH." (CRITICAL HIT!) Ow! Ugh! Ugh! Ooh! Ooh!

Miss Message(s):

He carves a rune on a bone and shows it to you. It's a good thing you can't read runes, or that would have set you on fire.

He pauses for a moment to sharpen his carving tools.

He tries to carve a rune on your <skull>, but there's no exposed bone there. He should've gone for your teeth.

Fumble Message:

He carves a rune on a bone and shows it to you. It's a good thing you can't read runes, or that would have set you on fire. (FUMBLE!)

After Combat
You acquire 1−2 Crimbuccaneer pieces of 12 (100% chance)*
You acquire an item: whale cerebrospinal fluid (5% chance)*
You acquire an item: Crimbuccaneer runebone (0.5% chance)*

Occurs at The Armory Up In Arms, while wearing the Elf Guard Fatigues.
