As pleasant as life in the Kingdom of Loathing is, it's nice to get away sometimes!

Elemental International Airport

Now, if traveling by boat with funny looking foreigners isn't your thing, you'll need to get on board at Elemental International Airport! Air travel isn't for the unwashed masses - you can charter a plane to one of five elemental destinations, allowing you unlimited trips, or you can purchase a one-day-pass at the mall for a brief visit.

Once there, you can deal with the weirdo locals, but strangely, they don't accept Meat as currency - they only take their own funny money.

Travel not your thing? Some people have enjoyed having a pen pal in the Distant Lands, for a taste of the exotic without the inconvenience of travel.

2004: Sorry for the long period of announcementlessness. We got back from PAX, at which point I immediately got sick just as every single electrical system in my house shot craps.

2004: I'm back on track, and a number of minor things have been accomplished in the last couple of days.

2004: Due to popular demand, the offer system has been changed to allow item-for-item trades as well as item-for-meat trades. It even allows multiple-items-and-meat for multiple-items-and-meat trades, in case anybody wants to do that. It's now a two-step process: offer and respond. The offerer can include a note telling the offeree what he/she wants in response. Note that the system only works for hermaphrodites.

2004: All items that were floating in the old system have been returned to their original owners.
