Morlock or Lesslock
Morlock or Lesslock

You hear the dulcet tones of a banjo wafting through the air as you enter another vast underground cavern. You follow the sound to its source and find a creature with blue skin and white hair, sitting in a rocking chair and plucking a banjo. "Well, morlock there, li'l mole," it says, "you sure do have a purty, morlockin' mouth." "Um, thanks?" you reply.

Do you know how to morlock like a piggie?" he says. "I reckon if you can squeal like a morlock, I'll give you some of my home-morlock bourbon." He gestures at a jug down by his feet.

You try and parse the creature's strange way of speaking. It seems to be replacing random words with the name of its species, like if you were to say 'human you, you human-ing human.' "So, you want me to squeal like a pig, and then you'll give me some booze?"

The morlock leans forward and grins a gap-toothed, lopsided grin. "Well," he says, "it's more the way that I make you morlock like a piggie that gets you the booze, if you morlock what I morlock."

You're pretty sure you morlock all too well what he morlocks, so you dash past him, grab his bottle of booze, and tunnel away before he can follow you. Gah.

You acquire an item: Morlock's Mark Bourbon
