Initiative Testing
The problem with testing initiative by finding the number of times you get the jump on monsters is that the odds of getting the jump are dependent on your buffed mainstat and you can only get one sample per adventure. A better method is to test whether you can run away or not with a given amount of initiative modifiers. See Spading#Combat_Initiative for a discussion on this method.
