Mushroom Fields Strategy

Description

Within the inside Degrassi Knoll area, there are the Degrassi Knoll Mushroom Fields. These allow the player to plant one of three spore types, and raise a plot of mushrooms. Not only that, but you can crossbreed other mushrooms to see what the result would be.

Rules

Buying a plot here costs 5,000 Meat. There are 16 spots in which you can plant mushroom spores. The Spores you can buy are:
Spooky Spore — 30 Meat
Knob Spore — 40 Meat
Knoll Spore — 50 Meat

The Mushrooms will take 1 Rollover to grow from spores to full mushrooms. At any time you can click on them and pick them. This will remove a spore (and you will lose the cost of it) or remove a grown Mushroom, adding it to your inventory.

You can also breed a mushroom with another one, creating a new mushroom spore. This is alot like the game of life. There are three conditions to mushroom breeding:

• A Square will be bred in if it is touched by EXACTLY 2 mushrooms, and if there isn't already an adult mushroom in that square. If there is already a spore there, it will be replaced by the new spore.
• Mushrooms cannot breed diagonally. Only Horizontally or Vertically, or on 90 degree angles.
• The same adult mushroom may participate in several breedings at once, if there are multiple squares next to it which are also next to other adult mushrooms. Any mushroom that produces spores will disappear from the plot the next day.

• The mushrooms will reproduce in a four-day cycle: The first day is when you plant, and on the second day, the mushrooms you planted are fully grown. If you leave them, then on the third day, those mushrooms are gone, and new sprouts are in the "reproduction" spots. On the fourth day, those new mushrooms are fully grown.

• If both parents of a spore are the same variety of mushroom, the spore will be of that variety.
• If the parents are different, and from the same generation of mushroom type, a new mushroom of the next generation will be formed. See tables for specific outcomes of mushroom breeding

Strategy

After the second generation mushrooms have grown, remove the two pointy mushrooms in the second and third rows to ensure a good yield of third generation mushrooms.

To Make a Flaming Mushroom: make the following patch xsxx kxxx xxxs xxlx Next day: xSxx Kxxx xxxS xxLx let them sit after rollover to get: wxxx xwxx xxpx xxxp Again let grow.. sit one rollover and you will have Wxxx xxfx xfxx xxxP let the spores grow to recieve your reward. To make a Stinky, replace the s that is diagonal the l in first plot with a k. For frozen replace the first s in the first plot with l. Follow all next steps.. just with you ONE changed spore!
