How exactly does this work? Does it prevent casting altogether or does it just give an error message? If the latter, does it still consume MP?

You've seen an explosion recently, so nothing can impress you. Nothing that is an explosion, at least.

You're just over them

Banishes the monster as long as this effect is still running. Length extenders will extend the banish.
