References

  • The name and image may be from an old PC game entitled Loom.
  • The Mini-Storage rift leading to a time when "everything was on fire" is a double reference to the cartoon Family Guy where Peter recalls building a time machine with a De Lorean, a reference to the 1985 movie Back to the Future, in which the time-traveling De Lorean must reach high speeds to begin the process. Peter jumps into the car, builds up speed, and promptly crashes into a building full of people, setting them and the building on fire, to which Peter exclaims, stunned,"Wow. Everyone in 1955 was on fire! I did not know that!"
  • The rift may be a reference to the Super Nintendo game Chrono Trigger, where a strange occurance causes time rifts to open up across space and time.
