disintegrating quill pen
This quill pen looks as though it's seen better days. Or maybe it just came from a really crappy bird. Either way, if you've got something to write with this, it should probably be something short.

When Used
- Used without inkwell in your inventory (with or without tattered scrap of paper) :

| You pick up the pen, and it floats out of your hand of its own accord. It wiggles around in the air for a while, but it can't find anything to dip into, so it just floats back into your sack. |
- Used with inkwell but without tattered scrap of paper in your inventory:
