References

  • The nature of dwarf bread in KoL (hard enough to be used as a weapon) is probably a reference to the dwarf bread of Terry Pratchett’s Discworld novels. In the novel Feet of Clay, for example, one B’hrian Bloodaxe is said to have killed 57 trolls with his Battle Bread at the Battle of Koom Valley.
