This is a spear made of the strange magical stone from El Vibrato island. It doesn't look like a spear, it looks like a stick -- but when you get it near things, a short-range beam of energy stabs out, doing significant damage. Just don't look into the end to see where the beam comes from -- you'll put your eye out.
