- Adventure in Seaside Megalopolis until you get the adventure Extra Savior Faire and receive the Ruby Rod.
- With the Ruby Rod equipped, adventure in Seaside Megalopolis until you've fought the following monsters. The essences will drop if you hit the monster with the rod the turn after it uses its elementally aligned attack, meaning you should employ a delaying tactic similar to the Gremlins in the Frat War:
- Continue until you get the adventure None Shall Pass; buy a multi-pass.
- Continue until you get the adventure 451 Degrees! Burning Down the House!; choose to read "Tuesdays with the Supreme Being" to receive the Supreme Being Glossary.
