hot werewolf You're fighting Inferno-Fang, Teenager Hunter

You start to sweat. Is it hot in this part of the forest, or is it just you? Or is it the flaming werewolf about to attack you?

Hit Message(s):

He kicks you in the <arse> with his burning feet. Not, like, itchy burning feet from athlete's foot, literal feet of flame. Ooh! Eek! Ouch! (hot damage)

He brands you with one burning talon. Oof! Oof! Argh! (hot damage)

He howls at the moon, his super-heated breath searing your <arse> on the way. Ooh! Ouch! Ouch! (hot damage)

He singes you with the fire burning on his tail. Ouch! Ow! Argh! (hot damage)

He claws you with his white-hot claws, branding and scratching at the same time. Ooh! Oof! Argh! (hot damage)

He bites you with his burning fangs, burning you with his biting fangs at the same time. Ow! Eek! Ouch! (hot damage)

Critical Hit Message:

He slashes you with his left front claws, his right front claws, his left rear claws, and his right rear claws. Then he bites you, just to put a cherry on top. Ow! Ouch! Ouch! Argh! Eek! (hot damage)

Miss Message(s):

He tries to brand you with his burning talons, but you resist being branded. Or pigeonholed.

He tries to claw you with his white-hot claws, but you dodge.

He tries to singe you with his fiery tail, but you respond with a fiery speech.

He howls at the moon. Well, one of them, at least.

He tries to figure out which moon controls his transformation cycle, and gets frustrated when he can't figure it out.

Notes

A red-hot werewolf leaps into the path in front of you. What big teeth he has! And what big eyes he has! In fact, he's big all over, and ready to eat you up!
You walk across a dry creek bed. It must have gone dry fairly recently and quickly, because there are a few fish still flopping and gasping on the creek floor. You look up the creek to see what might have happened, and see a werewolf sitting on the dried creek bed, looking slightly shocked. "I guess I should have seen that coming," he says, and stands up. His tail lights on fire and heat begins to shimmer above him.
A huge werewolf leaps from behind a tree and roars at you, its breath so hot it gives you a sunburn. It won't do any good to shoot a silver bullet at this guy--it would melt before it got close to him.
You see a refreshing little brook crossing the path up ahead. You run up to splash water on your face, but as you're kneeling down, the whole thing turns to steam! "Hey, what's the deal, here?" you shout, unrefreshed (but with nice open pores).

As if in answer, a burning werewolf emerges out of the steam, ready to get all up in your business.

You follow a trail of charred squirrel and rabbit bones to a barbecue pit that's still smoldering. Oh, and there's a werewolf sitting in the embers, waving at you. He looks pretty full, but also willing to make room for you in his burning belly.
The hot, dry air in this part of the forest sears your lungs. The trees hang limp and lifeless. You watch a squirrel run out of a hole and onto a branch, then keel over from heat exhaustion. Something's really heated up this little forest glen. Who could it be? Is it Forest Glenn, the firestarter?

Nope, it's a red-hot werewolf that's about to get all up in your business.
