Your level is an indication of how far you've progressed in the game. Your level is dependent on your main stat. As you reach higher levels, more areas become available to you. A new skill becomes available to purchase from your guild with every level through 15.
- Level 1 - main stat: 3
- The Council of Loathing advise you to visit the Toot Oriole on Mt. Noob.
- The Sewer opens.
- The Sleazy Back Alley opens.
- The Haunted Pantry opens.
- The Outskirts of Cobb's Knob open.
- Level 2 - main stat: 5
- The Spooky Forest Quest becomes available, opening The Spooky Forest.
- The Haiku Dungeon opens at 5 main stat.
- Level 3 - main stat: 8
- You are able to shop in The Flea Market
- You are able to join a clan.
- The Typical Tavern Quest becomes available, opening The Typical Tavern.
- The first part of The Wizard of Ego guild quest becomes available at 11 main stat, opening The Misspelled Cemetary.
- The Legendary Epic Weapon Quest becomes available at 12 main stat.
- The "Fun" House opens after smithing your Epic Weapon and completing the first stage of the Legendary Epic Weapon Quest.

- Level X - main stat: X2 - 2X + 5 or (X - 1)2 + 4 (both formulas are equivalent, neither works for level 1)
