mimic You're fighting a mimic

You drop your 5,000 meat at Izchak's feet, and go to pick up your cloak (or whatever it is.)

Wait, that's a mimic!

Hit Message(s):

The mimic rises into the air and lands on your foot, hard. Oof! Eek!

The mimic pantomimes your actions. You feel the sting of embarrassment. Ooh! Argh! Argh!

Critical Hit Message:

The mimic picks up a nearby question mark and reads it. A swarm of killer bees appears and stings you repeatedly in the <face> and <face>. Ouch! Argh! Eek!

Miss Message(s):

The mimic tries to close its lid on you, but you deftly duck out of the way.

The mimic tries to crush you against the back wall of Izchak's shop, but you sidestep.

Fumble Message:

The mimic picks up a nearby question mark and reads it. It looks around, suddenly unsure of where it is. (FUMBLE!)

After Combat
You acquire an item: dead mimic
You acquire an item: jumbo olive (?.?% chance)*
You gain 9 <substat>.

Occurs at The Dungeons of Doom, as a choice of Ouch! You bump into a door!.
