One Ornate Nightstand
One Ornate Nightstand

Having beaten it eight ways to Sunday, you cautiously approach the now-still nightstand.

Open the top drawer

In the top drawer of the nightstand, you find a stack of Meat. It's always weird to see old Meat, because it's a different color than new Meat, but, y'know, it spends just as well, so you're not complaining.

You gain ?−430-? Meat.

Open the bottom drawer

Look behind the nighstand

You look behind the nightstand, and find an old pair of glasses. They must've fallen back there and gotten lost.

You acquire an item: Lord Spookyraven's spectacles

Look under the nighstand

You root around under the nightstand and find a disposable camera. Hrm. You're gonna go ahead and assume that this was left behind by some teenage ghost hunters, and not an original feature of the bedroom.

You acquire an item: disposable instant camera

Use a ghost key

You stick the ghost key into the space between the now-dead nightstand and the spirit that once inhabited it. As the key turns, you experience an entire lifetime's worth of memories -- loves, losses, but mostly piles and piles of dusty old books. It's kind of a boring lifetime. As the key concludes its arc, it vanishes as you snap back to reality.

You gain 200 Magicalness.

Ignore it

Occurs after defeating an animated ornate nightstand in The Haunted Bedroom.
