This is a stick made of some enchanted material that glows a bright orange when in the presence of repetitive, electronic music. Which is, I guess, somewhat less useful than glowing blue in the presence of orcs. I mean, at least you'll know that you're near a rave when it starts glowing, and then you can take steps to either avoid or thoroughly enjoy it.
