This is a big cone of bright orange plastic. You have no recollection of how or where you got it, but it's like I always say -- it's not a good night unless you end up with a traffic cone!
Type: hat
Power: 60
Moxie Required: 15
Selling Price: 100 Meat.Moxie +3
So-So Spooky Resistance
(In-game plural: orange traffic cones)
Notes
- This item appeared in players' inventories the next morning if they had seen the To the Rescue stupor adventure, available by adventuring in a St. Sneaky Pete's Day Stupor on St Sneaky Pete's Day I. The adventure would only occur if they were wielding a cheap plastic bottle opener.
- It was originally just called a "traffic cone", the orange in the name came later to make it distinguishable from later traffic cones.
References
- "It's not a good night unless you get a traffic cone," is a line from the Red Dwarf episode "Last Day": "We're on a mining ship, three million years into deep space. Can someone explain to me where the smeg I got this traffic cone?" "It's not a good night unless you get a traffic cone. It's the policewoman's helmet and the suspenders I don't understand!"
