- On June 14, 2006 this item was renamed to serum of sarcasm and had its recipe changed.
- Effect duration was increased to 10 adventures if the skill Impetuous Sauciness was known.

- "Orang-o-tangy" refers to the orangutan.
- "Orang-o-tangy" is also a reference to Tang -- a sugary, orange flavored, non-carbonated soft drink -- of which the orangutan was also a brief mascot.
