- Ever since the destruction of The Gray Plague, plastic passion fruit no longer drops.
- During the times of The Gray Plague, could be taken to Doc Galaktik's Medicine Show to be made into Doc's Miracle Cure.

- Plastic Passion is a song by The Cure, from the album Boys Don't Cry. It contain lyrics such as "Plastic passion is a diamond delight / Plastic passion is the nadir of night". Considering the other sources of Doc's Miracle Cure, it's no coincidence that Bloodflowers is also a song by The Cure.
