Porko is a game playable in the Big-Time Generator adventure, and at The Porko Palace in Elvish Paradise.

When playing Porko, you are presented with a Pachinko-like game board featuring nine slots on the top row from which you can drop a token, a grid of pegs which will send the token left or right as it falls, and nine slots on the bottom row into which the tokens can fall. During the Big-Time Generator adventure, you must get the token into a specific slot to complete the quest. When playing at The Porko Palace, each slot will be labeled with a value from 0 to 3, indicating how many lunar isotopes you will win if the token lands in that slot.

Notes

  • There are three peg styles. Mouse over the image of the peg to determine if it is "peg style 1", "peg style 2", or "peg style 3". Peg style 1 will cause the chip to go right; peg style 2 will cause the chip to go left; peg style 3 could cause the chip to go left or right.
  • The relationship between peg style and peg image is consistent within each Porko board, but can change from game to game.

References

  • Both the name of the game and the way it's played are a reference to Plinko from the game show The Price Is Right. Plinko, in turn, is a variation of the iconic Japanese parlor game pachinko.
