"One-two! One-two! Hut! Hut!"
There appears to be a very small, very strange parade marching toward you. It consists of a line of Knob Goblins carrying boxes and trunks on their heads, being led by a large man with a giant walrus mustache (er, a big hairy mustache like walruses have, not, thankfully, a mustache made of walrus hide). His white safari outfit and pith helmet shine spotlessly in the sun and, as the party marches closer, you note that his cufflinks are taxidermic mouse heads, and his ascot appears to be spotted chipmunk hide.
"Company, halt!" The man stops in front of you and raises one hand. The goblins stop marching -- the ones in the back bump comically into the ones in front, naturally. The man adjusts his monocle and peers at you.
"I say, you wouldn't happen to be [playername], would you?"
"Er... yes, that's right. And you are...?"
"I am known as... Safari Jack!" He puffs out his chest dramatically.
"...Hello."
There is an awkward pause, and he looks mildly affronted. "Is it possible that you've never heard of me? The great small-game hunter, known across the continent -- nay, across the world -- for my many feats of daring, hunting and tracking the fiercest of tiny things?"
"Can't say I have, no."
"Harrumph! Well, no matter. My old friend Stella has called in a favor, and although you're rather larger than my usual prey, I dare say I shall enjoy this none the less!" He opens the lid of one of the trunks, and pulls out a large musket. "Now, do attempt to die in an entertaining fashion, won't you? There's a good lass."
Hit Message(s):
You fall into a tiny tiger pit. Well, your foot does, anyway. The tiny punji sticks at the bottom hurt a little. Ugh! Argh! Oof!
He showers you with rat poison. You dodge the deadly cloud by running into a tree. Go, you! Eek! Argh! Oof!
He shoots you with his musket, which is full of mouseshot. You get dozens of extremely tiny, stinging wounds. Argh! Ugh! Ow!
He tries to whip you with a rat o' nine tails, but it's not so effective.
He showers you with rat poison, but you're not a rat.
He throws a mousetrap at you, but you ignore the tasty cheese inside of it. Just barely.
He sets up an elaborate mousetrap, which fails to work. The little guy just never, ever catapults into the net the way he's supposed to.
He tries to hit you with a shrew-tooth flail, but you're not shrew tooth compatible.
Your foot falls into a tiny tiger pit. The tiny punji sticks feel like a refreshing reflexology session.
