• Using 7:

You fashion 7 shards into a sweet box.

You acquire an item: double-ice box

• Using 9:

You fashion 9 shards into a pair of handsome britches.

You acquire an item: double-ice britches

• In combat:

	You gingerly pick up the shard of double-ice with tongs and toss it at your opponent. It freezes in place and takes X damage.

Notes

• When used in combat, deals cold damage equal to your buffed main stat, and then makes the monster cold aligned for the remainder of combat.

• likely also a reference to ice-9, a kind of ice that was a new form of matter in Kurt Vonnegut's Cat's Cradle, although that was solid at high temperatures rather than extra-cold.
