*Proof of needing Fishy to acquire Ballast Turtle: I tried to get the ballast turtle 5 times, and never succeeded, but the moment I got Fishy, I got 3 Ballast Turtles. Coincident? I think not.

As you're plumbing the depths, you notice something out of the corner of your trained Turtle Tamer's eye -- an orangutan!

Just kidding -- it's a turtle. A turtle floating motionless in the eerie stillness of the deep. How does it do that?


Tame it

You swim toward the turtle, but clumsily, disturbing the water and scaring him off in a big blast of bubbles.

You send <Name> out in front of you to distract the turtle while you approach it from behind.

You creep up (or whatever you call the swimming version of creeping) and try to grab it, but it freaks out when you get a couple of feet from it, and disappears out of sight in a burst of bubbles.

You swim up behind it and deftly subdue it with your turtling rod. Its bizarre buoyancy makes it hard to handle, but you manage.
