Somewhat Less Horrifying
You stumble into a dorm room where, instead of an indescribably horrible abomination, you find a merely moderately horrible potted plant.
You pick it up, whereupon it dissolves into a puddle of goo, whereupon you collect the goo, whereupon you say to yourself "eww, I'm about to whereupon my shirt."
