So, say you're going to a huge get-together of people who are fans of stories about spaceships, dragons, fairies, robots, and possibly a combination of all of the above. You know everybody else is spending hours and hours making meticulously detailed costumes based on characters in those stories, but you're not about to spend that much effort. What do you do?
Easy! You slap on one of these helmets, and then whatever else you have lying around from the neck down. Got a tutu? Be a space trooper ballerina! A sequined jumpsuit? Elvis trooper! Not only is it a tenth of the effort, but everyone will praise your ironic individuality.
