The Spice Ghost is a type of summoned entity which Pastamancers can call upon in combat under certain conditions. By using scintillating powder a Pastamancer can establish a connection with a spice ghost.
Once connected, the Pastamancer can then summon it from the first round of combat after getting the jump on an enemy. It delevels the opponent throughout the fight and occasionally drops spices at the end of combat.
Combat Messages
- When summoning it:
- You conjure up a swirling cloud of spicy dried couscous, and there is a crackle of psychokinetic energy as <name> possesses it.
- With Haiku State of Mind
You enlist some aid, from a powerful ally. Powerful tasty. |
- Sometimes after summoning it:
- <name> shakes some of the spice into your opponent's eyes as he gets accustomed to his new body.
- Message after summoning when you have already summoned a Pastamancer combat ghost 7 or 8 times today:
- Your brain feels tired.
- Message after summoning when you have already summoned a Pastamancer combat ghost 9 times today:
- You are mentally exhausted by the effort of summoning <name>.
- When it hits an opponent:
- <name> raises his power bands and fires a cloud of confusing spice at your opponent.
- <name> engulfs your opponent's head, raising a choking cloud of spice.
- <name> asks your opponent if she is getting enough oxygen, which is pretty much guaranteed to be "no," because of the choking cloud of spice around her head.
- When it levels up:
- <name> looks stronger...
- After combat, usually first summoning of the day:
- <name> shakes loose a considerable quantity of spice. You conjure up a canister and collect it.
You acquire an item: spices

- One of the Summonable Pastamancer Combat Entities.
References
- The name "Spice Ghost", the image of the ghost, and some of the combat messages are references to the cartoon character Space Ghost.
- The line about "getting enough oxygen" refers to one of Space Ghost's catchphrases on Space Ghost Coast to Coast, "Are you getting enough oxygen, citizen?"
