 You're fighting the Spirit of New Wave

Your Nemesis gives you a round of slow, sarcastic applause as he walks down the stairs from the DJ booth. "I figured my little automatons wouldn't stop you, Disco Bandit. But, it was fun to watch them try." 'You're gonna need a hell of a lot more than some chintzy robots to beat me, Spirit of New Wave."

"Rave."

"...What?"

"I changed my name. It's "The Spirit of New Rave" now. See, that's what separates me from you fossils. You're so set in your ways, so unhip to what's happening. Me, on the other hand -- I know how to adapt. Out with the old, in with the new."

The spirit raises his arms and gestures at the scenery and flashing lights of the ancient Disco Temple. "It's funny, though, isn't it? The more things change, the more they stay the same."

"Well," you growl, readying your weapon, "here's one thing that's definitely stayed the same: I kicked your ass last time we met, and now I'm going to do it again."

The Spirit of New Wave -- I mean, Rave -- reels back, gasping for breath. Which is a little weird for a spirit, I guess, but since we've been ignoring the fact that you're beating up on a non-corporeal entity up to now, it's probably best to just continue on in that vein.

"You may think you've won, Disco Bandit, but I'm just getting started!" he howls. "I won't rest until disco is wiped from the face of the planet!"

"Speaking of faces and wiping," you say, "I'm going to wipe the dance floor with yours. C'mere."

"This isn't over! I'm going to show you my true power!" And with that, he dashes into the doorway his bodyguards entered through, and vanishes from sight.
