You stumble through the cavern, cursing the darkness rather than lighting a candle. As you enter a sub-cavern, though, blazing lights blind you. When your vision clears, you see a rather plain-looking little gravy fairy sitting in front of a lighted vanity table, back to you. She sees you moving in the mirror and spins around.
"Eeeek!" she shouts. "What are you doing here?"
"Wow, Felonia," you say, "you sure look different without your makeup and your wig on..."
"Get out! Get out get out get out!" she squeaks, and pelts you with whatever she can grab off the vanity.
You hightail it out of the room, feeling much better about any impending conflict with the fairy queen, now that you know what a drag she is.
Your ten-leaf clover disappears in a puff of smoke.
