Item number 666 originally hacked from the item database by Boozerbear, it did not at the time exist. Nevertheless, Boozer kept 13 of them in his inventory until one day, as a meatsink, Jick created the steaming evil. Boozer then put all of them in the mall for 999,999,999 meat each and since then all of them have been purchased.

Despite what the item description may say, the Hermit does not, in fact, have a secret laboratory. This is actually a joke relating to the way they were hacked. There was once an exploit that allowed a person to use the hermit (or l33t tr4pz0r) to obtain any item they wanted. This exploit has since been fixed.

Drkdx64 was one of the first, if not the first to purchase a Steaming Evil from the Casbah. Since then it has passed to Fusiliban. It is also known that nvx is also in possesion of a Steaming Evil.
