Note: "when it's worth pursuing" means "under what conditions would I invest extra turns or other resources into obtaining this hat", not "under what conditions would I use this buff if I magically happen to have this hat in my sack".
Hats are listed in roughly the order they're encountered during a run. Utility for a given hat/buff combo depends on both the hat and the buff. A buff may be listed more than once if multiple hats provide it or if there are multiple sources for the hat.


Don't forget that you can get a tea party buff when drunk.

Tea party buffs that are actually useful. This page is mostly aimed at players in Hardcore ascensions, but many buffs are useful in Softcore as well.
