*This is a reference to the episode [[Wikipedia:Black_Market_%28Battlestar_Galactica%29|"Black Market"]] of the newer [[Wikipedia:Battlestar_Galactica_%28re-imagining%29|Battlestar Galactica]]  series. The episode centers on a exmilitary officer, turned mercenary who is running a black market by stealing supplies from the fleet. During the episode he orders the death of a number of characters, each of which is then executed by being garroted with piano wire.

Mercy me, it's a mercenary! This is the little guy that lurks in the miniature underbrush, looking to garrote your toy soldiers and steal their supplies. He's not the most pleasant guy to have around, but he is fiercely loyal, in that he stays bought.

When used

The toy mercenary holds out his little hand. You give him 5-10 Meat. Then he sneaks up behind your opponent and garottes his ankles, doing 30-35 damage.
