There are some vague or non-exact figures and information on this page. Some spading is required.

  • How much meat does it drop?
  • Is the amount needed 1000? (Players on the Way of the Surprising Fist probably know the answer to that.)

wall of meat You're fighting a wall of meat

The way forward is blocked by a room-spanning wall of meat. Raw, pulsing, vein-shot meat. "I knew this thing was coming," says Frank, "but I was not prepared. Blech."

If you've beaten it already this run:

"It's definitely smaller than last time, Chief," says Frank. "Keep it up!"

Hit Message(s):

The wall crushes your <foot> between two of its massive flanks. Oof! Argh! Ugh!

The wall lashes out a sausagelike pseudopod and slaps you on the <solar plexus>. "Whoah!" shouts Frank. "That had to hurt!" Ouch! Ouch! Oof!

Some of the meat meets your nipple. It is not a happy meating. Oof! Oof! Argh!

A heavy tongue of meat disgorges itself from the wall and slaps your <elbow>. Oof! Ugh! Eek!

A slab of meat dislodges itself from the wall and falls on you like a ton of brisket. Oof! Argh! Ouch!

The wall shifts, and sprays a gout of blood on you. Frank explains that it's not actually blood, but water saturated with myoglobin. That doesn't make it any less disgusting. Ow! Argh! Eek! (sleaze damage)

After Combat

Upon losing the fight:

Frank says "Hmm. I don't think there's really a trick to winning this one, Chief. You just have to... y'know... not get your ass kicked."

"Thanks, Frank."

With low meat drops:

You watch in horror as the scattered bits of meat begin to reform.

Frank says "You made a dent there, Chief, but I bet you could get more Meat out of it if you were really tryin'."

You gain ?−263-? Meat

With moderate meat drops:

You watch in horror as the scattered bits of meat begin to reform.

Frank says "Hey, nice work there! You really carved a chunk outta that nasty thing!"

You gain ?−400−530? Meat

When finally defeating it:

Frank says "Looks like that was the last of the Meat!" You look up, and he's right -- the stairs to the next floor are clear!

You gain some Meat

Occurs at The Naughty Sorceress' Tower.

Notes

  • Unlike the other two Walls, damage functions normally against the Wall of meat.
  • The wall must be attacked repeatedly until all its meat is removed. Maximize meat drops to minimize the number of turns required.
  • You must acquire 1000(?) meat from the wall in order to pass the Wall of meat.
  • Never misses.
  • Cannot be stunned or staggered.
  • Deals increasing damage each combat round.
    • On each attack the wall will deal damage equal to ceiling( MaxHP * (0.05 + 0.25 * number of previous attacks) ) which is unaffected by Damage Absorption, Damage Reduction or Elemental Resistance.
    • It's first attack will deal 5% of your Max HP rounded up, the second will deal 30%, the third will deal 55% and the fourth will deal 80%.
