*This spell does physical damage only unless you have elemental attuning equipment (such as Gazpacho's Glacial Grimoire, Sinful Desires, Necrotelicomnicon, Cookbook of the Damned, Codex of Capsaicin Conjuration) or use one of the Flavour of Magic skills. If the Weapon of the Pastalord is tuned, it then deals half physical damage and half elemental damage. Bonus Spell Damage functions normally without tuning while elemental bonus spell damage works only when tuned and is assumed to have no damage cap.

There is an in-game bug related to this page.
Weapon of the Pastalord deals split damage in a random element when untuned.

Weapon of the Pastalord

Weapon of the Pastalord

Type: Combat Spell
MP Cost: 32

This spell will summon forth one of the myriad randomly-generated weapons of the Pastalord, the sworn protector of the order of Pastamancers in the Days of Old. That weapon will then beat your opponent about the head or head-analogue.

Source: Guild Trainer
Price: 5,000 Meat
Class: Pastamancer
Level: 10
Effect: Deals (32-64)+(0.5*Mys) damage, where Mys is your buffed Mysticality (which isn't ever capped), and divisions are rounded down.
When Used:
You call forth a <weapon> of <material>, which strikes your opponent for X damage.

History

 • The cost of this spell was reduced several times, from 35 MP to 31 MP on July 23, 2009, to 28 MP on July 28, to 24 MP on August 5.
 • Prior to the Pastamancer/Sauceror dual-revamp on November 14, 2013, the damage scaler on the Mys was 0.35 and the MP cost was 24.
 • A Trivial Update on March 24, 2014 fixed a bug where only Flavour of Magic could tune Weapon of the Pastalord, but added a bug which causes Weapon of the Pastalord to deal split damage in a random element when untuned.
