You approach the house, and see a big bowl of candy on a table, and a note on the door.

Nobody's home. Take a piece of candy from the bowl. BE HONEST!

Hmm. Whole big bowl of candy, just sitting there. Nobody around. What will you do?

Take the whole bowl

You grab the whole bowl and beat feat, looking over your shoulder until you're far away. And in the depths of your guilty heart, you're going to be looking over your shoulder for a long, long time. But hey. You got some candy, and that's the important thing, right?

Resist the temptation

You resist the urge to grab the whole bowl, and just walk away. As you reach the sidewalk, you hear a shout from inside the house.

"Hey! Hey, you! You passed the test, buddy! As a reward for your honesty, go ahead and take the bowl. Seriously, you earned it. We've got loads of 'em in here, anyway."

You beam with self-righteousness and walk away with your head held high and your bowl of candy clutched to your pride-swollen chest.
